Effective ERS Design was developed with the objective of offering operating
companies, engineering firms, and regulatory authorities with a structured
training program for a wide range of ERS design, risk management, and
compliance issues. The program offers three core modules and an elective
directed toward more complex ERS design challenges and methodologies.
Core Modules
-
Core Module 1: Practical ERS Design
The Practical ERS Design module serves as an ERS primer and
focuses on industry codes/standards, regulatory requirements, ERS
contingencies, calculation methodologies, and ERS data management.
Elective Module
-
Elective Module 1: Auditing Emergency Relief Systems
The Auditing Emergency Relief Systems module provides guidance on how
to conduct efficient and effective internal / external ERS audits to ensure
compliance, safety, and reliability. Special emphasis is placed on how
operating companies can leverage past efforts to bring their ERS documentation
into compliance.
